Bobby and Alexandra,

I have been meaning for weeks to send you an email letting you know that finally I actually presented the beautiful canary diamond ring to Katie and asked her to marry me. Actually, I did this on Valentine's Day evening (under a full moon). We then went out to a nice restaurant, and it turned out to be a really surreal, magical evening, the wonderful memories of which we will cherish and share down through the years. I'm attaching a picture that we had taken of us at the restaurant that evening. You will notice that Katie is proudly displaying the ring, which she was so happy at long last to have on her finger!

Thanks again for your personal interest and your friendship through all of the excitement of purchasing the ring and planning for our future. We hope to see you again sometime when we are in your area.

The proposal went pretty smoothly and as expected. I asked after we finished dinner during our vacation in Florida. The setting was good but the lightning was (surprisingly) great for the ring. As she described it, I didn't know what was in the box because all I saw were colors. As comical is it may be, I got the waiter to film the proposal as Sarah was under the impression he was going to take a standard vacation picture of us.

Thank you Bobby and all the staff at Midtown Jewelers for helping us find the perfect engagement ring and wedding bands! Matt and I had been looking for engagement rings for a while before we visited Midtown. Within a few minutes of looking at engagement rings in the shop, I found one I absolutely loved! Matt proposed a few months later while we were taking a walk in Colonial Williamsburg. We were married in Williamsburg, VA on July 6th, 2013.
